All appointment requests are currently triaged, most requests will be allocated a call back from an appropriate health professional. If you are asked to attend a face to face appointment please ensure you wear a face covering to attend.
We run a 10 minute appointments system. Each appointment is for one patient and we expect patients to keep appointments or to give us reasonable notice that they will not be able to attend.
We feel that continuity of care is very important and therefore you may have to wait up to three weeks for an appointment with a specific doctor. Non-urgent appointments with any doctor will normally be available within two weeks. Patients with urgent problems will be seen the same day.
When patients request an urgent same day appointment our Doctors have instructed the Reception team to take a short history regarding the problem so we can prioritise emergency medical problems appropriately.
Consultations are available to all registered patients.
We offer early morning and evening appointments at the practice, please ask a member of the reception team for more information.
We have a number of telephone consultations each week with various doctors, please ask reception for more details.
If you have a query for a member of the Doctor/healthcare team, please telephone reception early in the day. We will endeavour to return within 24 hrs.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. We have a cancellation list at the practice and this enables another patient to be seen sooner.
